With over 34 years of legal experience, Ruben has built a distinguished career helping clients navigate complex legal matters in asset protection, bankruptcy, business law, and estate planning. He is known for his transparency, honesty, and deep compassion for his clients.

Dariana Carrillo

Dariana is a licensed attorney in Mexico with a focus on civil law and a growing practice in cross-border legal matters. She is currently part of our team where she contributes her international legal perspective and supports clients navigating complex civil and commercial issues.

Mariana Goldsmith

A bilingual legal professional with a background in Mexican law, currently working as a legal assistant at Arizmendi Law Firm. Jose Gilberto Salas Mendoza

Jose Gilberto Salas Mendoza graduated with a law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California in Tijuana, Mexico, in 2019. He is currently pursuing a law degree in the United States while gaining practical experience working with Arizmendi Law Firm. Jose supports attorneys in estate planning, bankruptcy, civil litigation, and family law matters. Skilled in legal research, document preparation, and case management, he is bilingual in English and Spanish, providing effective assistance to a diverse client base.

Ricky Marin, J.D.

Firm Administrator
A California native, Ricky earned his B.A. in International Relations from California State University, Sacramento, and then his J.D. in two years at California Western School of Law. Acting as the firm administrator, Ricky handles many of the internal operations of the Arizmendi Law Firm. While not working in the legal field, you can often find him working with various volunteering events and doing community organizing around San Diego.

Erin Peterson

Law Clerk
Erin is a third-year law student at California Western School of Law with a strong interest in civil litigation and business transactions. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Management, which enhances her understanding of the legal needs of business and individuals alike. Erin is dedicated to providing clients with effective legal support grounded in both legal knowledge and business insight.
